Here at 1st Wormley we’re pleased to be able to offer camping to other Scouting and Guiding groups.
We have a large field which is suitable for camping and has access to the halls for toilets, kitchens and indoor sleeping.
There’s a fire circle and parking adjacent to the field. Adults or young people can sleep over inside if they wish, we have 2 large halls available. The halls can also be used for cooking or indoor activities. Both halls have kitchens – one has a large commercial range cooker as well as commercial fridge and freezer.
The hall and field is usually available from mid day Saturday and all day Sunday – ideal for 24 hour camps or day camps to give young people an introduction to camping or camping skills. We also have availability in the School Holidays for longer camps (subject to availability and come restrictions).

Rates
Our standard rates start as follows:
Overnight camping (outside only with toilet use) £3.00 per head per night – no hall use
Overnight camping/ sleeping in the hall £50 per hall per night or day plus £3.00 per head per night
Note
All equipment must be brought with you. We do have tables and chairs which can be used outside.
Fires are allowed as long as they are closely supervised.
The site must be left clean and tidy
